Our Story

Music is more than learning an instrument — it is confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong passion.

Every meaningful journey begins with a problem waiting to be solved.

For years, one challenge kept repeating itself. Parents and students spent hours travelling through busy traffic for just one hour of learning. A one-hour class often became a three-hour commitment. After school, work, and the long commute, students arrived tired, parents had to rearrange their schedules, and valuable family time was lost. Music was meant to be something joyful, yet getting to class had become the hardest part.

At the same time, another challenge was becoming increasingly clear.

Many students from around the world were searching for passionate and experienced music teachers. While the interest in learning music continued to grow, finding quality teachers was often difficult. In many places, lessons were either expensive, had long waiting lists, or lacked the personal guidance that students truly needed.

These two challenges inspired a simple question:

What if quality music education could be made more accessible, convenient, and personal?

That question became the beginning of a home studio—a place where students could learn in a calm and welcoming environment without the stress of long commutes. Families saved valuable time, parents could focus on their daily responsibilities, and students enjoyed learning in a space where every lesson was designed around their individual pace and goals.

As more students joined, one thing became clear. Great music education isn't about where you live—it's about having the right teacher, the right guidance, and an environment that inspires you to learn.

That belief became the foundation of The Clavier Studio.

Today, The Clavier Studio connects students from different parts of the world through personalized music education, creating meaningful learning experiences from the comfort of home. Every lesson is built on patience, encouragement, and the belief that anyone can discover the joy of music with the right guidance.

The Clavier Studio was founded by Dev, with a vision to bridge the gap between passionate students and quality music education—making learning more accessible, more personal, and more enjoyable for everyone.

What families say

Written by the people
who show up each week.

Real words from parents, adult learners and exam candidates who've spent their Tuesdays (and Saturdays) with us.

"My daughter started at six, terrified of the keyboard. Two years on she's finished her Trinity Initial exam with a distinction and asks to practise before I even remind her. That's the whole review, really."

Ananya R. Parent, Bengaluru

"I picked up piano at 34 with zero musical background. The lessons never feel like a lecture — more like someone patiently rebuilding my confidence one chord at a time. I can finally play the songs I actually love."

Marcus T. Adult beginner, online from New Jersey

"Online lessons across a nine-hour time difference sounded impossible until we tried it. The audio setup is crisp enough that I've never once felt like I was 'joining remotely' — it feels like a real studio lesson."

Priya S. Parent, learning from Toronto
